Partnership for Youth Development helps in-school and out-of-school youth who want to prepare for and find a job. Unemployed or underemployed youth who participate in the program receive counseling and job readiness training while receiving one-on-one support.
The Partnership program is funded through the Workforce Investment Act.
Since April, 2005, the program has served nearly 1000 area youth.
The Partnership services are FREE to those who meet program requirements and eligible youth are eligible to receive incentives for reaching goals while active in the program!!
The Partnership serves low-income youth, ages 14 to 21 within 18 months of graduation. We can be a resource for youth who have dropped out of high school, at risk of dropping out, are involved in gang-related activities, are homeless, have a substance abuse problem, mental health issues, or learning disabilities.
If you qualify, you can receive the education and training that is right for you. The Partnership program can help you sharpen your job readiness skills, discover your true career path, and attain the job, education or vocational training that leads to full-time employment.
