We will also have our computer lab open to job seekers so that they can apply on-site and discuss positions with said recruiters. We will have employers from all sectors of employment present!
The new Chris Pratt movie, Jurassic World, is taking over the box offices because who doesn’t love dinosaurs and prehistoric theme parks? Well I am guilty of loving both of those and as luck would have it, while browsing the Benson Park Plaza store; I came across something that is almost as thrilling as the movie itself: a one-foot-tall replica Tyrannosaurus Rex! What better way to relive Jurassic World moments than with one of your very own dinosaurs. The best part about Mr. T-Rex is that he is only $1.99! You never know what interesting find you might come across at our thrift stores!
Welcome to our yearly review of the Annual Goodwill Cardholder Survey. Once a year we send out a survey to everyone on our mailing list. What is a Goodwill Card? Excellent question.
Here’s the answer: The Goodwill Card is our little multipurpose tool for shoppers and donors. It’s able to keep track of donor records (no more saving donation receipts). It provides discounts for senior citizens, military members, students and teachers.
How do you get on our mailing list? By including your e-mail address when you sign up allows us to keep you informed of any special promotions and offers throughout the year. If you don’t have a Goodwill card we highly encourage you to get one. You can sign up for a Goodwill card at any of our stores in the Greater Omaha Metro.
Now then, back to the survey. We sent it to about 16,000 Goodwill Cardholders, and nearly 1,000 responded. We entered all of those folks into a drawing for a $100 Goodwill gift card, and Laurie K. of Omaha was selected as our winner. Congratulations Laurie!
Here are some highlights of what we learned from the survey this year:
