William “Bill” Ramsey served on Goodwill’s Board of Trustees from 1983 to 1995. He served as chairman of the Development Committee as plans were being made for a capital campaign in the early 1990s. He worked closely with Goodwill’s staff, approaching businesses and foundations to raise $1.2 million for facility renovation. Ramsey also presided over many special events for Goodwill as the master of ceremonies, including the press conference announcing the new headquarters in January 2010. Ramsey was elected as a Life Member of the Board of Trustees, and he also served on the 2010 Capital Campaign as a member of the Campaign Marketing Committee.
