James “Jim” Mounce joined Goodwill’s Board of Trustees in August of 1986. In 1989, as President and CEO of Woodmen of the World, he established the Woodmen/Goodwill Donation Drive, which would go on to become one of Goodwill’s most successful drives. Mounce served as Goodwill’s Board Chair from 1990 to 1991. During his term, Goodwill offered job training programs to more than 700 individuals, was awarded a federal grant to provide janitorial services at the Zorinsky Federal Building and started up a new computer training program known as DATAability. Mounce retired from the board in 2007 and was named a Life Member. He also co-chaired the 2010 Goodwill Capital Campaign.
