Joseph “Joe” Sullivan, Jr. joined Goodwill’s Board of Trustees in 1987. He served as the Chairman of the Board from 1992 to 1993. During those two years, more than 1,700 people were helped by a Goodwill program. Other successes included receiving our first contract with the Department of Defense and celebrating our 60th Anniversary. In 1993, Sullivan served on the Executive Committee and helped direct Goodwill’s successful $1.8 million capital campaign to renovate the agency’s main location at 41st & Pacific. Sullivan resigned from the Goodwill Board in 2003 and was named a Life Member. He also served on the Campaign Cabinet for Goodwill’s 2010 Capital Campaign.
