President & CEO Update

Happy Holidays to you and your families!

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Your hard work and dedication to each other, our customers and our mission truly exemplifies your commitment to support one another and those we serve. Without you, we truly would not exist. Thank you!

For the past 90 years, we have focused on serving the community through our mission programs. In 2023 alone, the sales and donations made in our stores have allowed us to help nearly 1078 individuals gain job readiness skills and independence through the power of work. I am proud to share that Goodwill Omaha is on track to fund $1.9 million for programming this year, and that is all because of you!

2024 is a new year, and we will have one new focus…YOU! Through a very important initiative coined “WillPower,” we will provide the same support we’ve traditionally provided to the community, to you, our employees, and our family! Goodwill has always been family-oriented and employee-centered, but WillPower will bring more intention and structure to these efforts. Our hope is to help you identify your personal and professional goals and then offer the learning, support, and resources you need to help make those goals a reality for you and your families!

But, these stories of impact expand beyond those in our community. We are committed to you. Please take a moment to watch this video and learn how Goodwill has made an impact on so many current employees’ lives over the years.
